Demand Response lessens the demand on the electric grid. You will power down your electric and will not use the power from the PJM Electric Grid. This is a great program to earn additional income. The Suppliers will pay you on average $60,000 each year you participate and $1,000 per hour you participate. Participation is only required during the Summer. Over the past five years there have been on average one yearly occurrence and the participants were required to participate for only 4 hours
